It clinched the league title once in 2023, and secured the Taça Nacional da Guiné-Bissau three times in 2014, 2017, and 2023. Additionally, the club won the Super Taça Nacional in 2017 and 2023. A historic milestone was achieved in 2023 when it became the first team from Guinea-Bissau to participate in the CAF Champions League. The club shares a fierce rivalry with Benfica de Bissau, known as the "Bissau Derby", one of the most anticipated matches in the country.
